Culver Signs Iowa Student Loan Bill

Gov. Chet Culver signed into law a new student loan bill today in Iowa. Read the rest of this article to get the specifics.

Culver signed the new student loan protection bill at Iowa State University where students graduate with the highest student loan debt of all three Iowa universities. The bill helps protect students getting loans and protects against sweetheart deals between lenders and universities.

 "Today we took another important step in helping our young people achieve their hopes and dreams of going to college" Culver is quoted saying by the Chicago Tribune.
